Privacy policy

This site sets no cookies and does not load analytics, advertising, or tracking tools. You can read every page without an account and without telling us anything about yourself. The only personal information you give us directly is what you choose to send through the contact form, and we use it only to reply to you.

Who we are

This site belongs to anoBytes Technology Solutions, a technology and security consultancy based in the United States. If you ever have a question about your privacy, want to see what we hold about you, or want it deleted, you can reach us any time through the contact form.

What we collect

We collect personal information in one place only: the contact form. When you send it, you give us your name, your email address, your company, the topic you pick from the dropdown, and whatever you write in your message. That is all we collect. There is no account to create, and we do not ask you for anything else.

Please send only what your enquiry needs, and try not to include sensitive personal details about yourself or anyone else.

How we use it

We use what you send for one thing: to read your enquiry and reply to you. We do not use it for marketing, we do not add you to any list, and we never sell or rent your information or share it for advertising.

Who helps us handle it

A few trusted service providers help us run the site and reach you: one that delivers the contact form to us, our email provider, and the company that hosts and protects the site. They only ever handle your information to provide their service to us, and only as much as they need. As with any website, our host processes basic technical information, such as the IP address of the device making a request, to deliver and secure the pages, and it gives us aggregate statistics about how the site is used, for example how many people viewed a page. We do not use any of this to identify you or follow you around the web. If you would like to know more about a specific provider, just ask and we will point you their way.

Cookies and tracking

We set no cookies and store nothing on your device. The page loads no analytics, advertising, or tracking tools, so nothing running in your browser follows you or builds a profile of you. The only usage information we see is the aggregate traffic our host provides, described above. Because nothing here tracks you as an individual, there is no consent banner to click, and a Do Not Track signal has nothing to act on.

How we protect it

We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe, including serving the whole site over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection so what you send is protected on its way to us. No website can promise perfect security, but collecting as little as possible, as we do, is the best protection of all.

How long we keep it

We keep your message and our reply only as long as we reasonably need them, to answer you and to keep a sensible record of our conversation, and then we delete them. If you would like us to delete your message sooner, just ask and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your choices

It is your information, so you stay in control of it. You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it, and we will take care of it. Depending on where you live, for example in California, the EEA, or the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under local law. You are welcome to those too, so just let us know and we will help.

If we ever change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date below, so it is worth a quick look now and then.
